ARE you the North East’s biggest superfan? A new competition to find the most dedicated fan in the region is now open for entries.
Whether you love Take That or Disney, Neil Diamond or Newcastle United, Explain Market Research wants to hear from you about why you are such a big fan and how your passion has changed your life.
Kim Davis, managing director at Explain Market Research said: “Are your pyjamas patterned with pop stars? Do you have a tattoo of your team’s logo? How about a shrine to your favourite film star? As part of the NWG Innovation Festival 2018, we are on the search for the region’s biggest fan, and we want to hear from you.
“During the festival, we’ll be working alongside a range of businesses and organisations in collaboration with Northumbrian Water to discover what it means to be a fan, rather than a customer or follower. The relationship between fans and objects of their affection is a fascinating one, and we work with brands across the UK to discover how they can engage with fans for life and create meaningful relationships with their consumers.
“We will be focusing on how organisations can turn customers into fans, as this is a key factor in success. Interestingly, major sports teams have the opposite problem, in that their fans are not always customers, so we work with them to establish a link between the two.
To enter, superfans are asked to submit a one-minute video to the Explain Facebook page introducing themselves and showcasing why they are the biggest superfan in the North East.
The competition closes at midnight on Thursday 28 June 2018, and the winner, who must live within a North East postcode, will receive an Apple iPad and the chance to talk about what it means to be a superfan at the Innovation Festival in July 2018. Terms and conditions apply.
