Key promotions to recognise growth at Explain Market Research

Explain Market Research has started its new financial year awarding key promotions to its growing team.

The development of people and the recognition of talent are key objectives for the growing business.  Explain Market Research, a North East research company with a national client base; has been delivering high quality and reliable insights to customers across three decades.

The business has consistently seen growth in turnover and profit year on year, providing development and opportunity for its dynamic team.

Sam Riley joined the Explain team 18 months ago as Market Research Executive; in that time Sam has excelled in the management of complex accounts including Northumbrian Water and Broader Measures, a contract to manage the six UK Distribution Network Operators.  Sam’s promotion to Research Manager recognises his ability and skill and acknowledges his delivery to clients and his own progression within Explain.

Kim Davis, Managing Director, said: “The promotion of Sam to Research Manager is testament to the hard work and dedication that Sam has shown.  Sam has consistently delivered complex projects and has added value to our clients.”

“Sam is an asset to the Explain business.  I’m delighted to see Sam grow and develop.  Sam’s promotion recognises not only his technical ability, but his positive, can do attitude, and contribution to the Explain team culture.”

Commenting on his promotion, Sam said: “I am delighted to take on the role of Research Manager.  The culture of success in Explain has enabled me to professionally and personally develop.  I am really looking forward to the year ahead and being part of the growth of the business.”

Explain has awarded an additional three promotions to its team members.  The 2016 graduate recruitment program has enabled the progression and development of three of the team in their first six months within the business.   Holly Clarkson, Alice Pinder and Lauren Haikney have all completed the first stage of the graduate programme and received promotions to Market Research Co-ordinators.

Commenting on the success, Kim said: “I am delighted to see the continued success of our graduate recruitment program, our growth strategy and continued delivery to clients will only be achieved through consistent investment in our exceptional team.”
